Does East Bay Tire manufacture tires in addition to carrying other brands for wholesale?

East Bay Tire doesn’t physically manufacturer tires but rather partners with the highest quality factories around the world. We work exclusively with quality manufacturers who present the best value to our customers.

I’m a small business owner with a fleet of commercial trucks, can I purchase individual tires from you without setting up an account?

Absolutely. At the heart of East Bay TIre’s history are small and mid sized fleets. We recommend creating an account to track your tire usage but it is not a requirement. Come in and see us!

Is there a complete listing of East Bay Tire’s inventory available anywhere online?

You can view our distribution center inventory live at any time (shop.eastbaytire.com). Our service center inventories are customer and market specific, offering even more products!

I live outside of California, Hawaii, and Arizona. Can I still become a member with East Bay Tire for wholesale ordering?

We distribute far and wide, even internationally! Contact our experienced team and we will find supply solutions for you no matter the distance.

Is there a minimum fleet size to become a service member with East Bay Tire?

No, big and small, we serve them all.

I’m a franchise delivery partner with Amazon, am I qualified to become a service member with East Bay Tire?

Agriculture is a broad and extremely diverse industry. Does East Bay Tire stock inventory for all kinds of agriculture machinery, or is there an area of focus?

Our agricultural specialty is primarily crops grown in the western United States. From potatoes, to hay, to tomatoes and everything in between, we have the tires you need. Tractor and implement tires may have similar sizes and applications globally, don’t be afraid to call us and check to see if we have it.

Does East Bay Tire partner with government agencies to provide service or tire wholesale for public works or other activities?

East Bay Tire has a specialized government team to support municipalities and all types of government agencies with tire solutions.

Dealer & Manufacturer Questions

Are there any major tire brands that East Bay Tire does not carry?

If it exists, we can source it for you. Bridgestone and Firestone are brands not commonly in stock. Aside from that, if the market needs it, we probably have it.

What kinds of qualifications are required for companies interested in becoming dealers for East Bay Tire?

In-order to create a non-taxable account, we do need a resale certificate and basic company information. We’d love to hear anything about your business so we can best support you.

Does East Bay Tire keep all of its available tires for wholesale in stock at all times? Or are there order delays for certain kinds of tires?

Specialty tires are exactly that…specialty. While we source from around the globe to have the right tires in stock at the right time…not everything goes to plan. Production for specialty tires is often infrequent, so you can expect us to plan ahead. Tell us what you need and when you need it, we will find a solution.

Does East Bay Tire ship orders to registered tire dealers, or are dealers responsible for tire delivery?

Trucks, Trailers and Containers…we will get it to you.

I’m an Original Equipment Manufacturer. What’s the best way to get in touch with East Bay Tire about purchasing tires?

To get in touch about purchasing tires, fill out our Original Equipment Manufacturer form and an East Bay Tire expert will respond quickly.

I’m interested in becoming a service technician. Does East Bay Tire offer in-house training and accreditation for new employees?

Our aim is to have every technician accredited by the Tire Industry Association (TIA). We will provide this training and testing to you.

Does East Bay Tire offer entry-level sales positions for young employees with little or no experience?

We do! More often than not, our entry level sales associates are grown from within, those who have seen other aspects of the industry in another East Bay Tire role.

I live in the United States and want to work in Hawaii. Does East Bay Tire provide relocation assistance to employees who are moving from out of state?

Yes, we do. In some cases, we provide relocation assistance moving within the state!

Service center questions

Does East Bay Tire guarantee a maximum response time and/or roll time for roadside service and repair?

No. Our response time is the fastest in the region (averaging under 100 minutes from the time of call to up time) with over 50,000 calls annually. When a unit is down there are hundres of variables (traffic, time of day, tire damage, weather, type of equipment) that our outside our control. Count on us every time to save you time.

How far from your service center locations will East Bay Tire travel to provide customers with roadside service and assistance?

We go to where our customers are. While we may not be everywhere, we will find a solution for you. As a rule of thumb, within 90 miles of one of our service centers is well within our reach.

Do your service center locations provide additional fleet maintenance beyond tire-related services, such as oil changes, transmission work, etc.?

Yes. Some of our locations offer mechanical services, check our location specific webpages for details or give us a call!

Can anyone show up at your service locations and get help, like a Pep Boys? Or do I have to be registered as a member with East Bay Tire.

Yes, come on in.

Are there any environments or conditions NOT covered by “off-road” service and maintenance?

If it’s not safe for a driver, operator, or technician we will pause until safe conditions can be realized.

The East Bay Tire service center in my area doesn’t offer the same services that are listed for other locations. What’s the reason for this?

People and our standards. We don’t want to offer services that aren’t up to the standards you expect from us. More than likely, we are actively looking for a great East Bay Tire team member with the skills needed to provide those services you require.
